My Process

A good plan makes for great design

The Client Brief

Creating a client brief involves gathering key details about the project, including the client's goals, target audience, brand identity, and desired outcomes. It serves as a clear roadmap, ensuring the design aligns with client's vision and objectives.

Research and Comps

Research for a graphic design project begins with identifying competitors and their practices. Comparables, such as design or industry standards are analyzed to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for differentiation.

Mind Maps and
Roughs

A mind map begins as any abstract thought connected to the project, then condensed to organize ideas, explore concepts, and develop a clear creative direction. Roughs that follow are quick drawn sketches that help serve as preliminary drafts, helping to refine ideas before moving on to final designs.

Iterations

Iterations allow for a design to be refined  based on feedback and collaboration, ensuring that the final design is polished and effective.
